Escape / Unescape

Escape or unescape strings for JSON, JavaScript, Java, C, SQL, CSV, XML and URLs.

How to use it

  1. Pick a format, such as JSON string, JavaScript, SQL, CSV field or URL component.
  2. Choose Escape or Unescape.
  3. Set any options shown, such as Quote, Delimiter or Escape non-ASCII.
  4. Type or paste into the input and copy the result.
  5. Click Swap to feed the result back in the other direction.
