DPI Changer

Change the DPI stored in a JPG or PNG without re-encoding the pixels.

How to use it

  1. Drop up to 50 JPG or PNG files onto the upload area.
  2. Check the current DPI and print size shown for each file.
  3. Pick a DPI preset or type a Custom DPI.
  4. Press Set DPI, then download files singly or with Download all.

Features
  • Updates JFIF and EXIF in JPG, and pHYs in PNG
  • Pixels are not re-encoded, so there is no quality loss
  • Adds an 18-byte JFIF header to JPGs that lack one
  • Shows existing JFIF, EXIF, Photoshop and pHYs values
  • Print size in cm and inches at the chosen DPI
  • Presets for 72, 96, 150, 200, 300 and 600 DPI
